I have some bittersweet news to share with you. Some of you over the past two days have already discovered I have sold Glas Chiropractic to Dr. Gina Kurtz, D.C. This may come as a surprise to many of you. Some of you have known that the move was going to eventually happen. Well, yesterday was that day. I will be here for a transition period. It has been my privilege over the past 8 years to be your chiropractor. I hope I have helped you with chiropractic care. I also hope I have added to your life even just a little bit. I want to thank you for being a part of my family at Glas Chiropractic. It has been my great privilege to build many friendships over the years. God has brought me to a time in life for my family and me to move on to something different. That something is Cocoa Beach, Florida. For several months I have been searching for the right person to take over my practice and I truly believe that I have found that person. I would like to take this opportunity to introduce you to Dr. Gina Kurtz, D.C. Hi, I would like to introduce myself, my name is Dr. Gina Kurtz. I am looking very forward to taking over for Dr. Bret Glas and continuing to provide the best care possible for each of you. Dr. Glas and I both attended Palmer College of Chiropractic at the same time, but I graduated in June of 1996. We both share the same chiropractic philosophy as well as our practice philosophy (I am not changing a thing). I have been a chiropractor for just over 25 years and have treated patients as young as two days old as well as into their 90’s. I have been married to Jeff Kurtz who works at Caterpillar for 25 years and have three great kids, Olivia (23), Tanner (21) and Kevin (19). We have lived in Metamora for over a decade and love the community. I can’t wait to serve and get to know each of you! Dr. Kurtz and I share the same philosophies and adjustment techniques. I hope and pray that your results with Dr. Kurtz will be similar to your results with me. Again, this decision leaves me with mixed emotions. I have thoroughly enjoyed helping you over the past 8 years. However, I believe all things happen for a reason and that there is another purpose for my life. I find comfort in the fact that you will continue to receive excellent care from Dr. Kurtz. Amanda will continue her chair massage work in the office. She actually started back up after having a baby, yesterday as well. She will be in the office on Monday afternoons from 2pm – 6pm to start. Dr. Kurtz has stated, “I’m not changing a thing.” That means that payment and hours will be the same. She might even be here on Thursday afternoons! Some of you have already seen that she is living up to that promise. Thank you for the many years that you have been like family to me. Hopefully, I will have a chance to say goodbye to you in person before my last day in the office, which is Thursday September 2nd, unless she is comfortable and lets me leave prior. Thank you for your loyalty and friendship. It has been a pleasure to serve you and care for you during our years together. I hope I added value to your life in some small way, Bret Glas D.C. P.S. My contact information… I do not have an office yet. Cocoa Beach, Florida drbretglas@gmail.com 309-453-7607
